Sexual Abuse Prevention Program
All Ontario Certified Teachers and applicants for College certification are required to successfully complete the online Sexual Abuse Prevention Program (the Program). The Program is offered at no cost and can be accessed online at any time.
Please note that provincial legislation does not grant the College with the authority to grant exemptions or extensions.
For additional information, please visit our FAQ page.
ONTARIO CERTIFIED TEACHERS
Ontario Certified Teachers (OCTs) can access the Program by signing into their member account.
If an OCT does not complete the Program by the deadline noted in theirmembers account, the Sexual Abuse Prevention Program status on their certificate and public register page will change from “To Be Completed” to “Incomplete.” The only way to change that status is to successfully complete the Program.

They can restore their licence to good standing by completing the Program and paying a reinstatement fee.
