Responding to bullying

The College has new advice for Ontario teachers on Responding to the Bullying of Students. The publication — suggested by parents — provides a model to help teachers identify the signs of bullying and intervene early to stop it.

Celebrate Great Teaching

Attend our conference

Plan now to attend the College’s Inspiring Public Confidence Conference from May 31 to June 1, 2018, in Toronto. Mental health advocate Margaret Trudeau and social commentator Rex Murphy will headline the event, which will include English and French workshops on regulatory and education-related topics.

Myth or Fact?

Only classroom teachers are members of the College.

Myth!

Fact: The majority of College members are classroom teachers but vice-principals, principals, supervisory officers, directors of education, among other roles, must also be certified teachers to hold their positions.
