The College conducted a review of the existing standards of practice and ethical standards in 2005-2006. Read about the five phases of the review and the significant input we received from teachers, education partners and the public.
Teachers love to learn as much as they love to teach. They take about 40,000 Additional Qualification courses a year. The College’s search tool, Find an AQ, helps teachers find the course and provider to suit their specific needs or interests.
The College issues professional advisories to guide and advise its members about topics that are important to the teaching profession. For example, a recent advisory advised teachers how to best use electronic communication and social media.
